The facility, known as the Que Duong NOC (Network Operation Center) is situated at Que Duong commune, Hoai Duc district of Hanoi, Vietnam about 20 kilometers outsite center of Hanoi.
The following are the range of equipments at Que Duong NOC:
- Carrier Monitoring System (CMS);
- Enterprise Management System (EMS);
- Monitor and Control System (M&C);
- Multi – Image Display System (MID);
- Antenna System;
- Uplink System.
The NOC enables to manage entire accesses to the VINASAT-1 satellite system. The NOC is constantly manned 24 hours per day to monitor the whole customers' services and applications, including analogue and digital signals as well as the relating technical parameters.
Due to an automatic control system continuously measuring signal quality, the NOC immediately authorises to detect, alert any problem as a decline of service quality while controlling and co-ordinating customers' services. This authorisation will support to diagnose and recover service swiftly.
In conclusion, the NOC has a widely range of functions, as following:
- Managing the footprint power;
- Monitoring the customers’ services quality ;
- Providing VSAT services;
- Checking and controlling the services quality provided to customers;
- Implementing services test;
- Supplying the uplink service.
